Who we are

The Malawi Association of Political Science Students (MWAPSS) is a platform for political science students and students interested in political science issues. The association is international, politically independent, non-profit and student-run, and aims to have national and global impact in the political science sphere. We are nationally affiliated to the Malawi Political Science Association (PSA), and the International Association of Political Science Students (IAPSS) which is under the International Political Science Association (IPSA).

MWAPSS draws a diverse membership of students from all Universities in Malawi and those studying in diaspora. Membership is not restricted to political science students, but also other fields such as political philosophy, political and economic governance, public administration, international relations, public law, public policy analysis, human rights, and related disciplines relevant to the study, analysis and understanding of political issues in Malawi and beyond.
